John "The Cheater" Barnard, best known for cheating during tryouts this year and being caught by myself and Mills Rendell should be much lower. Willy Westhoff could take him down any day of the week. Dana Hayes should be lower while Brian Heck should be higher. Right now, I like my final 4 as: #9 Greg Smart to upset Phil Purcell and win the Hermanson Bracket (the top left in the bracket, 8 players), Jimmy Slovitt to take down the winner of Austin Rendell vs. Ian Wright in the quarters and win the Sheets Bracket (top right), David Berlinghof to be upset by good friend Mike Phillips in the finals of the Belford Bracket (bottom right) and advance to the semis, and finally young gun Jimmy Tippet to upset the upperclassmen and win the Reimer (sp?) Bracket. Semis looks like #9 Greg Smart out of the Hermanson Bracket vs. #5 Jimmy Tippet out of the Reimer Bracket. I like Smart to outexperience Tippet and get the W. On the other side #2 Jimmy Slovitt out of the Sheets Bracket gets taken down by #6 Mike Phillips out of the Belford Bracket. As for the championship match, #9 Greg Smart vs. #6 Mike Phillips, they're gonna need all 36 to decide this one, but with a bogey on the last hole, Mike Phillips takes down Greg Smart due to a smart duckhook into Happ's Creek, and a double bogey.
ReplyDeleteSolid work everyone, Im upsetting mikes pick for champion in the first round, other than that, hermanson seems fairly accurate in his predictions. On the other hand, I say we kick that cheater kid out, cus im not a fan of those types in my tournaments.

ReplyDeleteya willy since your basically the only player who isnt a new trier golfer other then Lucas why dont you just pick everyone who plays, and by the way didnt Lucas beat you last year 6 and 5 or 5 and 4?
